That's funny....I've been into quite a few Fastenals and always get the same answer when I ask for M3 hardware...."we can order it for you" Well yeah, I can order it as well. I stopped trying with them...

I just placed an order with Tonysscrews. He's got great prices and I didn't have to browse through 50 pages of crap to find what I needed. I spent $25 and got a BUNCH of hardware. Thanks to everyone who replied, I appreciate it!

I stopped by there also and got the same story. They also said that I needed to buy a whole bag instead of 1/2 a dozen or so. I found a little Mom & Pop hardware store that has a good supply.

Yeah, Fastenal sometimes doesn't stock what you're looking for but a lot of times they can check another store and have it the next day... The only hardware store here that has that small of a screw, charges .89 cents for one M3 X 10mm button head screw! I get them for $4.65 for 100 from Fastenal.

Support the mom & pop stores if and while you can. You'll never get the same service from the big box stores and they will certainly never know your name, there's something to be said for that.

i'd have to say RTL fasteners ....super easy to navigate there site, click on what you need and bingo....there is a whole list of sizes to pick from....placed my second order with them in over a year and they sent a 12 peice pack of screws instead of a 50....called them up and they answered in 3 rings talked to the lady who runs/owns it and she was soo sorry my order got messed up....said she would have a 50 pack in the mail within the hour....got them in 2 days, but here is the bonus....i got one of those extendible magnets that look like a car ant....i had it loose in my hand and went to stick it to my washer and the thing rocketed out of my hand, it was a rare earth magnet ....went to pull it off and it fully extended out before it came off....RTL will get my money from now on....McMaster you have to click on this size, then click on that size to get to just the price per pack of only one size screw ....RTL you have the whole list right there, click add to cart and it brings you back to screw page in one click to move on....might be a few bucks more, but it is well worth it and way faster to get your order done and in your hands in 2/3 days..........bob
