The Workstation is a waste of money. Its a glorified tool and bit holder. Its good for holding the dremel so you can have both hands free, but thats about it. You can't drill with it (much too fast), and you can't really machine anything with it (much to flexable and sloppy).

Duuuuuuuude's correct. It's not good for much except holding the dremel for you.

That being said, I love mine. I have one dremel always mounted for sanding and cutting, and another hanging for anything else. It's nice to have an extra hand sometimes.

I have the table top drill press and the dremel one and the dremel one comes in handy and doesn't take up a big foot print on the workbench

If you are set on turning your Dremel into a drill press, get this
http://vanda-layindustries.com/

I have the whole mill and it is more than adequate for drilling thin sheet aluminum and milling Delrin. If you have the room, get a real drill press.

I should probably add that the only reason I have the Dremel press is that I got a good deal on it and didnt have much room for tools at the time.I now have a drill press that sees regular use.

I don't know why people are saying you can't drill with a dremel...I do it all the time. Keep your bits sharp, people.
