Exclamation ~I Need Help!~

im having problems with bending and brazing 3/16 brake line, i need a new bender and was wondering what you guys are using??, also i have saftey silver 45 BUT my map gas torch is lacking is the heat department. im not sure if there is a more concentrated tip or if i should get a hole new torch?? -Randy

That looks like a propane torch head. Get one made for MAPP, like this one:

MAPP wont burn any hotter that propane if it can't get all the oxygen it needs.

Also, if you're having trouble with brakeline get some higher quality tubing. I hate working with brakeline, It's a pain in the ass to remove the coating completely enough to get a decent brazed joint. I really like this 1010 steel tubing:

A bit more expensive than brakeline but way easier to work with.

thats a propane head fer sure..u need to get a turbo swirl type head for mapp to get it hot enough for hariss 45 silver..

ur best bet is go get one of the small bottle oxy /acetylene kits from lowes.. the heat is more consistent and MUCH easier to work with...

Stronger too. I'll never use brakline again...maybe to do test bends with, but never to build with.
