What diameter does the rod need to be turned too?

Googled it but couldn't find and help :(

I want to thread 10/32

here is a good page i just found. it shows dimensions of most popular threads.

10/32 is 3/16" diameter or .1875 inches or 4.826 MM and 32 threads per inch

10-32 and 10-24 dies will thread 3/16" rod no problem

You can even get an 8-32 die to work if you are careful and use a cutting oil of some sort

U can also buy thread rod.
