Man, you guys are fast on the replies!

BTW, Bender, since you are here, have you ever used Delrin on the SW2 with the TLT? I know you did for the Clod, how did that ever work out?

Yeah, I've got a set of Delrin lowers on my TLT too. It's working great on both crawlers so far. I'm using 3/8" diameter on my SW2, as well as the Clod. For the SW2 3/8" is overkill, I'd go with 5/16" diameter.

That would explain why I ended up using Carbon Fiber on my 2.2! The 1/4 was to thin! I should have asked instead of just assuming!

I think 1/4" would work ok for really short links.

I'm using 1/4" for all my links on my P4 TLT and so far haven't noticed any problems. I'm running a 60/40 setup, so my rear links are longer. I love using Delrin for them...they are quite slick and slide very well on the rocks.

I use 1/4" delrin for my links w/o out any issue, they do slide nicely over
the rocks. haven't tried to heat and bend it yet although the thought
crossed my mind to try it.
