Default Wheel Base Jig

Thought I'd share the wheel base jig I made last night, to measure and align my XR10-Progress Chassis-Chaotic Links build.
It will help me make sure everything is square, and allows me to easily check both side measurements, at rest and fully compressed.

Since only the front axle is held, you can dial in whatever wheelbase you want! Pretty slick!

Thanks Man. I made this out of necessity. Chaotic Crawlers has been helping me get these links to work on this chassis. If you haven't delt with these guys, I can tell you they are great to work with and run a top notch buisness! Their products are the best! I started playing around with link ends, shock & frame set up, and got the whole thing out of wack. Built the jig last night, and am pulling the links and checking all the pairs for equal length tonight. I'm close to where I need to be. If you look, you will see that I only have one mark for 12.5 inches. (both sides) I can mark where I'm at with a pencil, and then measure from the 12.5 mark if I need to know.

No there isn't. I just made it for my XR10. I don't plan on running anything else but my scaler, and its good to go. You could make one that is completely adjustable though. You'd need a lot more parts and a considerable amount of time. Probably be easier to just make one for each different rig. This took a lot of measuring and about three hours to put together. I just used stuff I had laying around.

Thanks John. I'm going to be ordering some of your motors one of these days for this thing.
