I've never tried it, but Delrin is hard to bend so it stays in that shape. You might be able to heat the area you want to bend first.

| Just a thought
I have never worked with any delrin before but this might work. I did this with 3/4" pvc conduit, I needed a pc the had a zig-zag in it. So I drew the pattern I needed on a pc. of 3/4" plywood, them I hammered nails in just enough so that they would stay, I put them on the outside edges of the pattern I drew. Finishing nails work best because they have almost no head. I then heat the pc. of conduit with a propane torch until it was warm enough to bend, Then I put it between the nails on the plywood and let it cool.(actually I poured cold water on it to cool it off because I didn't want to wait. Anyway it turned out great. I think this would work for you and with the pattern you would be able to bend your links exactly the same everytime. Hope this helps. Brian |
