| wat is the best soldering wire
i'm new to soldering but i'm gonna try to make my own tube chassie out of brakeline.i was wondering wat is the better wire to solder with. clear flux solder or rosin core solder thx to anyone that replies to this Last edited by ak kid; 06-01-2006 at 10:44 PM. |

I Wouldent Soulder I Would Braze. Brazing Is So Much Stronger Or If You Have A Welder Weld It.

If you are soldering for structure, you want solid wire with no flux inside. Go to the plumbers section and get a container of flux and solid wire. It will do best for non-electrical apps. It probably wont stick to brakeline well as it is ferrous. Use 45% brazing rod with a propane torch. |
