Default micro touch?

i just bought one from home depot for 15 bucks it's starter kit
and it sucks. i let it warm up for like 15 minutes and it still wouldn't melt any solder. and it feels and cheap and flemsy
i held it up again the solder for like 5 minutes straight and i didnt do anything.
i lit it right. with the orange glow in it

so i was going to return it and get a new one

any suggestions on which one to get?

I have one of thesePPMT & PPSK part #PPMT.I use it all the time at work for soldering/heat shrinking. It has never let me down. I think I've had it for about 4 years without any problems.

I use one exactly like the second photo in the post above, and it's hot enough to braze with. as a soldering iron, tough to beat. Gets WAY hotter than my 80watt electric one.
