Default silvaloy 15% for brazing

iv got some of this this. can this be ussed to braze steel?

Yea u can but that looks like the higher temp stuff that is used mostly for refrigeration work. The silver sticks is usually lower temp and a little easier to use.

Yes, it should work. You might need an oxy set-up though, since the low silver content means a higher melting point. It might cost you more in oxygen canisters than buying higher silver content braze.

I dont know it that would be good for steel.

Bring up a welding store and search on the same name (silvaloy) you will find what you need.

Thats like what we use in copper to copper it takes more heat but should work.
