I usually use a real light coat of regular ol wheel bearing grease as well. I really don't see it making much difference between one type or another, as long as there is something on there. I hate getting something that someone has packed full, and its filthy trying to clean it all out. Something turning some serious rpm's like a savage or something I could see it maybe being a little more important.

I recently started using Losi Great Grease in my trucks (MOA and LCC) and am extremely happy with the results. It quieted the gears significantly in my bully...

I'm an avid supporter of Lucas Red and Tacky #2. I used to pressure wash heavy equipment and the only grease you couldn't wash off was the Lucas. You could spread it into a thinner layer, but not remove it. I run it in all of my fullsize rigs without issue so it should be good enough for an RC crawler. I also pack my trans/axles full as part of a water damage prevention package. |

Rocksmith gear jelly is good stuff. Team3six can hook you up with some. Personally I stick with what I get from work, "chixsan" or "arctic" grease. We use it in our commercial LIQUID PROPANE pumps. Tacky and smooth.

I use Castrol extreme pressure bearing grease. It's a dark red color, sticky as glue and it stinks to high hell!
