That's some righteous porn right there , way to go man .
I only have a small machine, but I paid it off this year and am very happy too.

Woah that is some machine shop setup you have going on. Having the ability to expand is amazing when working on stuff. What kind of Swiss you looking at? I worked at a shop that did tight tolerance parts on Ganesh Swiss machines. Seemed pretty rigid and repeatable to me!

I've also for a manual mill and lathe in there as well with plenty of room left to expand. As for the Swiss machines. I've just really started researching the Swiss, ganesh and makino seem to be pretty relaibke and price wise are good for their sizing. but the makino F5 is what I've been leaning towards.

We are in the market for a new precision vertical at work...I am all for the makino F5 also. I run Makino EDM equipment at work and love them. The Japanese think a little differently but it's an easy curve.

It's only gravy as long as the work keeps rolling in.

Tank you very much and yes it's a great feeling. Now comes the part where I save for a bit and then purchase the new one.

It's nice having someone who you can count on to help with machining. I've also got manual setup mill and lathe they come in handy for short run work or touch up work.

Not much experience with HAAS but i am with MAZAK and Okuma, Please look into Japanese machines!. Okumo is way expensive then Mazak but still. Both are great machines, quick and real easy to work with.

Being a machinist is great
