Default brazing noob looking for help...

I am looking to build a truggy on my scx 10 chassis, I had it built once, but the rid I used was to thin, and I ended up ripping it apart on an obstacle. Do I bought 25 feet of 3/16 stainless brake line and am gonna attempt brazing. I an working on a budget with this build do I just have a propane torch. Any help would be greatly appreciated

the search is definitely your friend for this info, but i would say make sure you clean and sand your brake line well, you don't want any grease or oils on it before you start. Propane may not be hot enough, look for MAP gas as it is much hotter.

Clean tight joints are the key. Fishmouth joints are a must. Since you already have the torch, scrap the propane and use Mapp gas with Harris Safety Silv 56.

What issue are you having? What braze material are you using? Brass rod? Safety Silver?
