Default Scrollsaw for metal?

What kind of scrollsaw and blade setup should i look at for cutting mild steel? Say 12 and 24 gauge (generally what Home Depo/Lowes/OSH stocks)?

I've cut some of the 24 (or 22?) gauge with shears, but don't like how it curves everything (plus the teeth marks are a pain).

I'm on a moderate budget, and also looking for a saw that can be put away on a shelf when not in use.
