Hey all, ok let me rephrase this a little, I am looking for al sorts of materials, finding it hard to get what I want, .
In particular I want to start making my own links, got a bender, and some traxxas rod ends, was looking at some 5mm brass, and. Aluminium rod on ebay. As I am new to constructing my question is this suitable?

Also, I am starting with brazing, the only place I can get steel tubbing, again ebay, my local stores only sell brake line in coil form, this of course is not any good for what I need, is there a hobby store that specialises in supplying this custom material? I have checked tower hobbies and the other big names and although I can get rod ends and what not the basic materials aren't available.


Ok finally DELrin, I think that's right? Where can I get that,
I have searched the forums but can't find a suppliers list and I thought one of you kind folk could point me in the right direction.
