Default Centering rotary tables

I have a hard time centering my rotary table with my mill. I saw in a video once some sort of centering device that I can't seem to find. Is there a easy way to do it that I'm not aware of? I can cut beadlock rings no problem it's just when I go to cut the fake vale stem slots it looks off. Any insider rotary table tips are welcome. I'm using a 4" rotary table with a 3/8 mill chuck.

if you want a fast way to do it but is not 100% on (within about .002) and you have a lath make a peice that fits in the hole of your rotary table and u can put in your chuck then what you do is put it in your chuck and then move the table tell it well drop in to your rotary!

Ben I don't know what it's called, but it looks like a counter sink bit. The bottum half spins free compared to the top have. You run it down into the center hole. An adjust your x/y untill the bottum lines up with the top half.

I know that makes no sense at all untill you see it I try and find out what it's called.

The centtering bit.
You see the ridge where the cone shape stops. It's separated into two pieces right there. That part moves around in the center hole of the rotary table while the top is spinning in the chuck. When they get lined up again is when it's centered.
Left is alinged right is missalinged.

^^^ "edge finder" You should use one that has straight sides though.
I have the .375" one in this link, basic instructions are there too.

I just close the chuck and use a small drill bit to center it.

Doesn't sound too technical but it works.
