Default 8mm O.D. steel tube ?

Im building a crawler from a 1/8 buggy. I'm gonna just run a 8mm tube from diff to diff and slide it in place of the dog bones. .. drill a hole and slip in a cotter pin.

Prob is finding just one foot of 8mm O.D. tube and not paper thin.
Dont want solid rod.

Anyone know of a place ?

Thanks.
