| Looking to make my own sliders/bumpers - What do I need?
I'd like to build a set of bumpers and sliders for my Patrol. Definitely don't need anything wild to build cages. I've read about a mapp torch and I think a small brazing setup. Could anyone point me to a good simple setup? Also for bumpers and sliders what kind of material is recommended? Thanks! |

I agree with CODYBOY, stainless tube is super nice to work with. Steel rod, or breakline are also common. I also love my jewelry torch that I use but it was pretty expensive. The torch I linked works well, but heats up a large area which makes it difficult if you have joints that are close together. |
