Default Looking to make my own sliders/bumpers - What do I need?

I'd like to build a set of bumpers and sliders for my Patrol. Definitely don't need anything wild to build cages. I've read about a mapp torch and I think a small brazing setup. Could anyone point me to a good simple setup? Also for bumpers and sliders what kind of material is recommended?

Thanks!

I use 1/8-3/16 and 1/4" stainless steel tubing with .035 wall thickness. ZORO is the best place I've found for price. I use a uni-weld torch system that uses a acetylene B tank only. Been using this same set up for over 30 years.

3/16" Rod, tube, ect. of your choice.

I agree with CODYBOY, stainless tube is super nice to work with. Steel rod, or breakline are also common. I also love my jewelry torch that I use but it was pretty expensive. The torch I linked works well, but heats up a large area which makes it difficult if you have joints that are close together.
