No prob. I picked up a Creality for Black Friday , as my second. It really was plug and play, did a ten hour print to start, perfect!

If you get an Ender printer, just make sure the switch on the power supply is switched to 115v. Level the bed and you should be good to go.

Re: 3d printer for rc parts

@Harley started "STL Sunday" live streams on YouTube. While not step by step tutorials, they will show you one way to skin a cat in Fusion 360. There are multiple ways to create solid models and these videos show you his methodology. I think it's a great way for newbies to learn how and why things are done. It also gives experienced modelers insight into the way somebody else creates models.

His YouTube 3D printing playlist is here: https://www.youtube.com/user/HarleyDesignsInc/playlists

Also, at the end of the videos he uploads his models and makes the STL files available here: https://www.thingiverse.com/HarleyDesigns/designs

Huge fan of Harleys streams on STL.

It made me look at fusion , and I was hooked. So far I’ve drawn along with Josh, even changing up and doing a 2cylinder Vertical compressor.
What’s key is he makes you think about layer height, location.... ease of printing.
Great Help!!

Well shout out to Josh!
“Think how it will print as you draw”
I was tired of seeing rough looking second heads for the SCX10III. I thought I can do better( said the schmo with zero drawing ability)
So I sat and stared at the hole on top of the servo..... then grabbed my calipers and pen. Kept looking and I finally saw it. Drew it up in Fusion, left it in parts to test fit, added more to each edition. Here’s three next to the motor, the final two are printing now. I added a lip to cover the servo edge, and another coupled mm to the fastening side. I’m past amazed that it fit perfectly. When I have all versions done and test printed I will drop them on thingaverse.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...e819341f27.jpg

Hi
Just got my new creality cr20pro and got a few testprints out, when i noticed that the parts were thicker on one side or another.... looked into it an found out the
x-axis is not level with the bed. It’s pointing upwards to the right, making the right side of the bed off about 2mm compared to the left..
It has the BLtouch autolevelling bed.
Is this a factory fail, or do i have to tune the bed or the extruder-arm manually?

Re: 3d printer for rc parts

You assembled the upright to the bed? If so loosen all six screws and square it up. Minor inconvenience that’s never mentioned in the fast guide.

Got a Ender 3 Pro v1 a few days back. Thought I ordered the V2. So I have the V2 in my cart and stalling on hitting the buy button so far.

Maybe keep the v2 as it is, and upgrade the v1 to do Nylon and CF prints.

I had similar problems a while back. I went as far to tear it down and check this stuff.

Creality Ender 3 Pro is on sale for $199 picked up at Micro Center if you have one near you: https://www.microcenter.com/product/...pro-3d-printer

I'm a Prusa guy and have no experience with the Creality stuff, but I know they're well loved.

Dang, I wish there was a micro center out here in Vegas. Might have to get the fam in Denver to get one and ship it.
