That is a great tool, nice job. The bumper build is a nice clean design as well.

Could definitely put Such a tool good to use.

I might have to give this custom bumper thing a shot. I have a mig think that would b too hard to weld this small with?

I would say yes, I've done a few with a mig but I guess it depends on how your welder does with thin material. Test it out on some scrap before you weld the actual bumper.



I've had good luck with my Miller mig. I've just do little tack welds as you really cant run a full bead without putting too much heat into it or burning through.

Exactly what I would plan to do. No way I could run a bead it would smoke the metal I assume.

Try brazing, all you need is a propane/mapp blowtorch solder and flux. All materials cost around 60-70 dollars, plus the metal you need for fabbing.

It's a really easy process and a lot cleaner than welding, and pretty much just as strong.

Any blowtorch works, and the most poplar solder/flux used is Harris Saftey Silv56, 41 dollars on Amazon.
