Default “Servatool”

Watching the 10.3 build vids by SBG, he used a big yellow widget to the rod ends while building the links. I thought he said “servatool” but I can’t find it anywhere.
Any info would be appreciated.

I’ve always just run an Allen key through the ball in the rod end to twist it on but I’ve always been scared I was stressing or warping the rod end in some way.

Who uses what?

Does anybody know if the Szczerba Tool stl file is on sale?

shipping to Mexico cost more than the tool itself

No, it's not available. If you have simple modeling skills you could recreate it yourself.

Cool you saw em there. Fun little tool I came up with a few years ago and had a friend do the CAD and printing. See Jato's link. I have nothing to do with the file, making or selling of them. I just needed one for me. There have been over 200 made from the same guy!

Thanks Szczerbera

Here's the tool I came up with, I made it to fit a smaller Element RC rod end and realized it wouldn't fit larger ones so I added a slot on the other side that should work for everything else.

Nice job! My iteration is way different than yours and much closer to Shane's which is why I didn't post it online. Yours is simple and effective though. Thanks for sharing. Also, props to you for getting permission from Shane before posting it. That's what I would have done had I posted mine.

I think this is trying to accomplish the same thing, just a different shaped hole, bonus that it fits a 1/4" hex drive: https://www.amainhobbies.com/schaffn...-01%2fp1010490
