Does your local hobby store carry any metal? Most everyone of them I've been in here in the states does. Just use stuff from there. Or if you have a home supply center?

i've seen the stuff in b+q, very expensive for what it is. i might well want to buy in bulk as i'm thinking about doing a run of chassis. i'll keep looking.

thanks for your replys, and sorry i posted this in the wrong section
