So guys i'm not sure what is better, lock nuts or locktite. Can i get a little more info. I run it in pretty much anything so i need something durable.

Overall, if it won't be loosened/tightened over and over, a nylon locking nut would be the best IMO. If it will be moved often for adjustment, adding loc-tite would be better.

I tend to use normal nuts and loc-tite more often because I like to build everything "loose," meaning I can remove/change things as easily as possible...........and just use my finger to hold a nut instead of a tool. Then once I get things where I want them, I can loosen the nuts, throw some blue loc-tite on the threads, then re-tighten, and be done.

Once you tighten down a Nyloc nut it's done. They're only designed to lock once. If you loosen them they lose alot of there locking ability. So, if it's something that's gonna be taken apart then I would use the lock tight.
