Default Soldering Help Please!!!

I will start by saying I have soldered many many rc motors, escs but thats about as far as I have gone with soldering. I have a cheap 30w soldering iron and a 120w soldering gun.

The problem started after I had soldered a 55t lathe motor to my wk esc. After a few tumbles down hill the negative wire poped off, so I resoldered it, poped off again, and again and now i cant get it to stay on at all, as soon as i move the rig it pops off again.

The positive lead is on very good and cannot be pulled off. I feel like I am doing the same as I have always done, anyone got any tips.

I have cleaned the motor tabs got all old solder off wire and tab, tried with iron, tried with gun, nothing is working, and I am using the same solder i used with so many other motors.

You have to heat up the metal on the motor tab, and bring it up to temp by holding the iron against it first. Rough up the surface of the tap with some sand paper first, and melt some flux onto the tab also.

If the metal tab is hot, and there is flux on it... the solder will stick.
