Tower hobbies sells a locking spool that would do the trick or just get some JB weld and lock the diffs

Open up the diff and there is the ring a pinion gear. Take the ring gear off of the case and you will find the spider gears. Then you take them out and clean all the grease out. Then put the spiders back in and put in some JB Weld or hot glue or anything else that will get hard. Then put them back together. Or you can get spools. Then you just open the diff, take the case with the spider gears out, and screw the spool onto the ring gear. I personaly like locking my axles with spools just to assure they will not come apart. Hope this helps.

the spools are a better way to go... that way you could unlock them ( if you ever decided to) they sell for around $12 each... not to mention... its less aggravation trying to get gears clean.. and sometimes if not glued right, they come undone...

it may cost you 24$ but you will be better off. Get the spools, have had them for the past year and no issues and as mentioned previously.........easy cleaning when the diffs come apart.

First you start by searching through the fourms in the maxx section and you will find the same thing you asked about 100000002350-923152150912512520952130950129530921509235 times and then some. I would put JB in them. Its cheaper than the spool and serves the same purpose. Only thing is you can't take it out if you don't like it. Chances are though if your wanting to lock them then your not worried about needing to take them apart.

jb weld all the way, its cheaper and it will work fine as long as you clean the spider gears first
