Default Maxx aluminum differential housing

I just finished my aluminum diff housings (first time i braze aluminum), It's a bit different than what we usually see . Each housing weight 167 grams. Still a lot of things to do to finish my crawler project but want to share my new passion

What type of rod did you use to braze the aluminum with?

Any tips for someone trying to braze aluminum? Those look great!

I used HTS-2000 brazing rod second generation (very expensive) and a cheep brazing rod from the flea market. They work the same !

The important thing is to rub the brazing rod on the hot surface in order to penetrate the surface... or do the thinning process.

A litle update on the finished product...My first concern was the servo location, i wanted it right there

The front tie rod is made of unbreakable structural fiberglass.
