Default Switching steering servos?

What do you have to do to switch to another brand steering servo on the emaxx, with all the stock traxxas TQ3 setup?

I've got this futaba servo I wanted to try and I can't get it to respond to the radio?
Do I have to re program the esc or something?

You shouldnt have to do anything, unless the srvo you want to se is really old and has a different wiring order. I can't remember all the wiring codes but the red is always in the middle, the negative (either black or blue)is always on the right side of the red and the white (or orange?) is the signal on the left of the red.

It does look pretty old - it was on a clod.
I'll check out the wiring order like you suggested - I know it's a good servo though.

Thanks
