Question 540 motor on Summit?

Is it possible to use a 540 motor on the Summit gear box? I know that the stock motor is 775.

Possible yes, advisable no. The truck is too heavy and you'd end up burning up the motor. Get a dewalt 14.4v motor if you want to stay brushed.

Yup... I'm doing the same thing in my scaler, I have a 540 motor on an E-Maxx tranny, works great!

Yup, it really depends on what axels you are running, if you keep the 32p gears, and what kind of speed you want out of the truck. I just used what I had on the bench and went down from there...
