Default LR3 Builds A Summit

Yes you heard right. I am expanding my addiction to more then just scale rigs and got a summit. Bone stock for now and only got two pics and a video in the works, but I love the thing. It is a blast to drive

Nice, first things first is get a Dewalt 14.4 volt drill motor better run times, insane amounts of torque, and alittle faster. Then modify a servo to act as a winch and then your unstoppable. Also I do have a 18 volt Dewalt motor that I'm not using. Pm me if you're interested.

Thanks. Another thing I want to do is change the tires. They seem to be too firm and not always grab on when I want it to.

Yeah I got Pro-Line Trenchers on mine and they look killer, also running Axial's 40 series beadlocks.

Get some lipos. check out www.hobbyking.com get some 4s lipos a 4s lipo cut-off and a 4s lipo capable charger and you'll be out there pratically all day and have massive long run times. What did you think of my E-maxx?

I burnt out the stock motor after many battery packs of extreme abuse, I found a brand new one on ebay for $10 so I couldn't pass it up. I don't really feel the need to make it faster or anything, it's plain fun the way it is!!

Wow that is a good price the cheapest I've seen them on E-bay was 27.99... The Dewalt just has gobs of torque and pleny to spare.

If I were you I'd get some Traxxas Steel driveshafts. Towerhobbies would have them.

I'm wondering whether my E-maxx will be able to handle any jumps? I've always liked the F-650's by the way. I'm trying to find more bodies for my E-maxx and I'm drawing skectches as to of how to make the wheelbase extendable just by unscrewing some screws and then moving it to where I need to and then screwing the screws back in place. That will be something cool and will definitely make it as cool as can be.

your title mislead me -
When you said "LR3 builds a summit I was expecting something like this" . . .
