The RCRockGar Maxx rigs run slop-free E-Maxx trannsmissions I have been VERY impressed with how little slop there is.

If I have time tomorrow evening I'll open up the tranny and snap some pics so you can make the same mods to yours. Just can't be afraid to drill a couple holes though

Here is what I did, filled the slots with epoxy. There is just enough room for the shift fingers to slide in and out, both 1st and 2nd still work.

Toyo, did you get a chance to take some snap shots of the tranny yet? Or did you do the same as above?

when you take the tranny apart, you will see on the 1st and 2nd gear where they slide together. its a notch about 1/2" long. you can just hot glue/super glue/epoxy it together and be done with it. i super glued mine and its been great for over a year now. but doing it that way, its locked in 1st gear only.. if you want 2nd gear still, then you need to do it the other way like above. after running the tranny with and without slop, i will just sacrifice 2nd gear from now on. its a big improvement
