Default EVX-2 in original E Maxx?

Hey guys, I just fried my Novak EVX (one with orange casing). Can I run a 16.8V EVX-2 in my truck? I am just running 6 cell 4200s. Thanks

The older EVX2 doesn't have lipo-cutoff, but they MIGHT have a new that has lipo-cutoff.

evx2 will be just fine in the old emaxx. it does NOT have any kind of lipo cut off or alarm. you have to use your own.
the new xl-5 is the one with the lvc.
