Default Can Someone PLZ Help

Ok i am a new to rc i broke my outer drive shaft on traxxas summit 1/16 vxl and took the sleeve off cuz its the only part brokin and temporaly fixed it how do i actually put it on the part with the rod in it plz help

im assuming your talking about the u joint (were it bends) and theres 2 pins that cross i believe you bend the ears out slightly on the drive shaft and then put one side in then the other. then squeeze them back together. at least thats how friend with a ax10 does it.hope it helps?

If that's it, the Traxxas trucks come with a little "pry bar" that makes it easy.
I don't have one but use traxxas yolks on my scx10.

I use my plastic cutters to "pry" the little ears up and then pop in the metal pins... it's a pain!

I have boiled the traxxas shafts to get them to soften up for me to shove the pin part in there, it works better for me cause before I was killing those flaps yanking on them with pliers

please do ur self a favor and get the steel cvds and plasticoat spray ur diffs so they dont get full of shiz. the pinions go Quickly due to dirt and crap getting in easily. check on how t waterproof a servo and do the same with those diffs and it will help. i did this with my pede 4x4

nini revo axles directly replace the mini summit axles and last wayyyy longer. I bought steel summit axles and broke them before the stock revo axles even whimpered
