| Dual GD 600s On A EMAXX Trans
Hey Dudes, Im Building A Replica Of The Scorpion Crawler. Yes I Know JasonInAgusta Is Doing One But Mine Will Have A Full Interior And Have Mad-Force Axles. So Im Taking His Idea Another Step Further. WIll Look Good If Not Better Than JasonInAgusta's Crawler. But I Wanted To Run DUAL GD600s On My E-MAXX Trans. My Theory. You Can Never Have Too Much Power. Like My T-MAXX. Will Use Stock Savage Tires And Wheels(Thanks To By Buds Bro With His Savge Tire Upgrade). Just Wondered If This Was Too Much Power. Want To Run Dual Motors, Batts, 4wd Steeringd Thanks Tell Me What Ya Think Of My Project. NATE |

Right After I Posted That I Thought To My Self That Dual GD 600s Is Way Too Much Torq. Just Putting In A Siro .27 In My T-MAXX Stripped Gears Outa It Left And Right :( . Stoped Rippin Gears Out When My Whole Tranny Was Metal Gears . So Im In A Delima Now. Go 9tooth Pinions And Integy Lathe Motors One A Single Stock Titan With A GD 600. Whats The Best Way To Go. I Am Kina Going Towards Run Time Like 45 min. Or So Beacuse I Hate Electrics But Love Rock Crawling. So The Less I Have To Switch Batts And The More Time Out Crawling Would Also Help. Plus I Dont Have A Digital Camera Yet(Its On The Christmas List). So I Cant Post Pics Of My Progress Of The Scorpo Crawler. The Name Of It Will Be "Scorpo Stinger". Any Other Ideas For A Name WIll Be Helpfull. Thanks, NATE |

Ive got a 20 turn motor(too hot) into a gd600 into a e-maxx tranny W/1 2400 battery I think the longest Ive ran it so far is 20-25 minutes it has tons of torque! If anyone knows how to get more run time let me know |

I ran my rockraider chassis when I first got it with 2 55 T integy motors, 2 batts, 9t pinions and 76t spur and it had a lot of torque and a ton of power and I was still able to bump up stuff with ease if I needed to. I went to one lathe motor/GD600 - mixed feelings since I was used to all the power and wheel speed from before but it does crawl a lot better. I can't get the wheel speed though. So I can definitely recommend the dual lathe motor setup - it works well. |

Go with the one lathe motor and one battery, with a gd600. The single titan motor will still require 14.4v to work at full power (two batteries). The single motor, battery is alot less weight!!!! |
