Question Newbie help with rock crawler conversion

Gentlemen, I'm new to the forum and new to rock crawling. I have read the sticky but I just wanted to make sure I understand, so I have a few questions. I would like to make my Emaxx into a rock crawler, nothing like a competitiion model, just a casual, newbie type build. Anyways my question is;

A) if I get the following mods, would these parts be straight drop in modifications or will I have to do anything else.

1) 2 each # 4981X Spools
2) Hitec HS-645MG servo
3) Traxxas Spur Gear 32P 72T #4472
4) Robinson Racing 9T pinion gears # 0090
5) Integy Matrix Pro Lathe motor 55T #SCM5501

B) Do I need to get the above motor or can I just run the 2 stock titan motors that came with the Emaxx ?

C) Can I still use all the MIP CVD's and center drive kit that I have installed on my Emaxx already ?

D) What about anything else I might have missed ?

E) If I convert the ESC to only use 1 battery, what side do you place the battery pack or is their a mod for that ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Yeah that stuff should drop right in.

You can use the titans, but you'll be better off for slow controlled crawling with that 55t motor.

I would say crawl with that as is and see what you like/don't like from there.

I am new to the RCCrawler sport as well, been 1:1 crawling since 2002 and 1:1 wheelin' since 1987, I have an E-maxx set up with 1-4 with stock motors. All pieces were easy bolt ons. I am happy with it but the following mods would make it that much more capable in my eyes:

Longer Wheelbase (Designing a IFS Front / Linked rear chassis to be different)
Better Tires (Trying to decide between Moabs or Masher 2k's)
The ability to go slower (Lathe Motor(s))

I snapped an axle shaft last weekend and am adding Revo shafts/Knuckles tomorrow.
