Default Maxxzilla

This is my project rock crawler, I built a second suspension out of links and other parts. I also locked the front and rear diffs put RPM front and rear shock towers, I used Ti links on most of the custom suspension along with MIP cvds in the rear. Coming in the mail is a set of jumbo amxx swamp dawgs. Enjoy the pictures.

Yea, The extra motor acts as nitrous. But really I use it for a weight my front end is too light. Well, I used links to setup a "2nd" supension for my e-maxx by making just connecting the rear bulkhead to the chassis, it works pretty I can get my maxx to 90* of articulation.

Not right now, it is just a clear body that needs some sanding done to the fenders. If only we would get some nice weather to paint in, and go crawling.

Today I did some more work to MZ, I attached the lower link to the same place where the top one attaches to. I then cut the lower chassis braces up to where the tranny attaches to the chassis. I hope this will prevent rocks snagging on the bottom like they used to. I will keep you posted. btw I am suprised that most people like mz.

Here is a pic of what I did. Don't look at the front end that is in between putting a spool in it. In the other pics you can't see it but the bottom links are connected to the chassis brace which has been since dremeld.

Hello, all. I'm the "Co-designer" of this little project! (hence the name ) I don't have a E-maxx or a crawler even! But hope to make Phase II of this little beast. That will include what you see in Maxxzilla's Signature. A center "diffed" E-maxx (which is locked of course) and will feature a lower CG etc etc etc. Heck might even toss a in a lowered chassis. We'll just have to see how it goes! Anyways Just thought I would let you all know! Thanks for looking at MZ's Emaxx!

I would have to say I owe at least 1/4 or more of this project to him, with out him I would have given up long ago. But instead I just kept making it better and better. The hanging driveline looks pretty funny, makes it look like junk.

I can't keep my hands off this truck, today I did kevin's mod (lift the tranny up out of the way) Now my truck has lots of ground clearance, I can't wait to try it out once I get my new spool.

I went back to my old maxx mashers today, I narrowed the rims and now I'm going to cut the tires some. They worked way better after I narrowed the rims even better than the Jumbo maxx swamp dawgs even if they are smaller. I am going to order some bft tires soon along with front cvds. I will post pics when I get my bfts mounted.

Well, today I lowered the CG and increased my ride height. I am now using one battery pack, I lowered the esc placement and the RX placement. I then mounted the shocks diffrent so now the suspension is fully extended. I gained over 1/2 inch in ground clearance and now my truck weighs 7 1/2 pounds rtr. I will post pics soon.

thanks man, I figured you would like to see it in action (since our maxxes are some what the same) go to general crawlers and look under videos. Speaking of crawling, I had a blast today MZ did pretty well considering I just kept making the course harder. Damn I need those BFT tires. Hey digler, you said the bft tires fit maxx rims right?
