if that is a direct power servo your gona need a sorce for power if you dont already have a sorce for power than you can ether solder in a power port /jst plug to the battery plug on the esc side or buy a adaptor that has jst plugs built in to it |

If I’m not mistaken the stock Esc has a separate (red, two-wire) JST plug from the factory. The RS800 should connect to that, and to the stock ch1 port (which I think there are two ch1’s, can go into either) in the receiver. Should be fairly straight forward install. Be advised that any servo needs to be centered before installing the servo horn, and end point adjustment is crucial to prevent damage to the steering/suspension, or the servo itself. That is a pretty powerful servo, so you do run the risk of breaking parts if you have an aggressive driving style. In my experience, more powerful servos will cause some significant flex at the chassis side panhard mount. I can also vouch for the $25 ds3235 servos to be a noticeable upgrade from stock. I started off with a 20$ ds3218 20kg on my first barely upgraded scx 10.2 and could bend the steering linkage with it. I’ve upgraded the steering linkage and thought about going to a reefs 444 or Holmes shv500 but honestly I’m still happy with the ds3218 even with the rig heavily upgraded now.
