looks sweet. But one question, don't rockcrawlers do better with a solid axle? Wondering how that independent setup will do. What do I know though I'm a noob. |

Actually in the pics he has the axles locked out so they work as a solid axle. The only thing that you might want to change is the shock mounts. Try making the shocks just bolt right onto the axles. It will make it sit lower and give you a better center of gravity. Otherwise it looks really good. Krystopher

looks good, all i would do is make it so the outside links conect toe the a-arms for a beter stance and it would eliminate torque twist and i wuold also move the shocks to the axles so it sits lower but other then that it looks nice...oh and move the servo on to its side, it just seems alittle unecesary to have it sitting so strait up!!

wow, thanks for all the comments! about moving the shocks so that the chassis sits lower, i dont really want to compromise my belly clearance, right now its 6.5" and I'm really happy with that I might make a plate so that I can attach the shocks to the axles... any other suggestions to lower cog??? (other than the obvious) also, I have to retriangulate the links cause if you look closely you can see they're slightly off thanks |

It is a fine line. Too much CG vs too much center clearance.
