Default stock maxx frame (kinda)

heres my build im workin on need lots of help on the steering!!!

built this mainly with parts from a t maxx most
parts were used differently then they were intended
i just modded my tq3 with push button rear steer
let me know what you think i could do?? on a tight budget
and no hobby stores around
i think im going to mount the battery sideways by the front shock tower any other ideas are welcome

Thats an interesting design. The plastic skids act as a torsion setup. As for the steering I would mount a servo near where you have the square bar and connect both tierods to the servo horn.

just got my front steering done going to go home and start on the rear i also changed the rear set up instead of using the skateboard risers i bolted up the same setup thats on the front
i'll post pics as soon as i can

just to let you know ive done that same thing and on the bottom of the bulk head you will need to make a bracket that connects to the chassis or your axles will be moving back and forward alot

thanks for the heads up but it actually seems pretty solid
ive just received my servos i'm going to run on the front and back so im going to mount them and then work on the little things like that..... i'm looking for a set of rims and tires if anyone has a cheap set that they dont need anymore hit me up at squish72@hotmail.com

so far it works really good, well i havent seen any other crawlers in person so as a comp rig im not sure (i have the only one i know of in my town) but i just ordered up some new tires and wheels and i need to finish my rear steer after
i do that ill let you know how its workin

i cant keep an axle un broke on this thing what is the cheapest set i can get and will jato stubs fit?? i have an original emaxx its not the wide maxx well let me know
