Got the Yeti cage mounte . Very nice match for the Summit.

Its hinged on the rear chassis brace and flips up. It locks down firmly on custom mounts I rigged up on the side battery doors. I will still be able to use the Baja body right on top of this cage

I guess I have to wait. That will give you time to make it just the way you want it!
Are you happy with the cage?

Here is a slick trick to try with the rear bumper. Cut the bracket on the chassis side and leave 1/4'' at were bolt to the chassis use the bumper hole to mark where will need to drill holes to bolt the bumper back on. this leave you with no bumper to hang up in the rocks.

Got the Yeti body all hooked up and de-stickered. And a bit of re-stickering

Default Yeti xl bumper

I have the Traxxas Slayer Pro bumper coming in today. I will post some pics of it later today.
It looks like you really could use one.

This is what I did no the back to snug things up. I think this is what you may want to try also.

Since its wet , snowy and muddy i decided to throw in my Dewalt motor and stock esc....now I'm waterproof and can actually run worry free. Had a blast today doing a little mud bogging !

I also painted up a new Bug shell. The black one is full of extra holes because I changed my mind a few times on how i wanted the body mounted. ...it's also got a few cracks because I landed upside down when jumping a few times(in single digit temps, without the support of the cage). From now on I'm gonna use the cage underneath for supporting the body.

I also mounted the rear bumper high and tight up on the shock tower. The shape of the bumper almost exactly matches the shape of the rear of the Baja Bug body

When I'm on youtube i copied the "embed" code in the share menu. Then i pasted it in the reply box. I did it on my iMac.....i dont think it's even possible to do it from a tablet or a phone. I dont see the embed option in youtube on the mobile version of their site.

It took me a few tries to figure it out....I think I'm remembering correctly what I did....I'm laying in bed half asleep at the moment on my ipad. Let me know if that doesn't make sense and ill double check when I'm on the computer in the morning....

This is what I'm copying from the share on youtube- I past it here and this is what I end up with. I must be missing something on the pasting part of it?

CLICK on share in youtube. but don't copy the first share code you see. Look for "emed" then click it. then copy that code and paste it. What device are you using?...because i cannot do this on any phone or tablet. I can only make it work on my computer.
