Just saw those on one of the FB groups, I wish they posted some pics of them installed because they look really good. That is a lot of weight at 70g a piece but $117 plus shipping from Europe is pretty steep. The full set of pretty much all the brass portal covers I have seen are about $80 shipped although they don't look as good. |

MFR portal covers are beautifully machined (and better looking imo) priced at $80 for full set of four.

Portal covers from MFR, GPM, and All RC (I imagine these will be sold under many Chinese companies) all run $80ish for a full set. Options are a good thing and mixing and matching brands will help tune weight bias since they all come in different weights.

the mfr portals don't have near the same weight. add in a set of hub weights and 117 shipped for these is a steal. $84 mfr portals x4 = 102grams $117 these x4 = 280grams i mean, come on.. are you really comparing the 2? you're getting damn near 3x the weight/material Last edited by ubernewb; 08-10-2017 at 04:34 AM. |

A full set of MFR portal covers plus 4 Beef Patties would be 356 grams of weight for about the same price.
