Search the site. The WP 1080 is well loved and I've been pushing brushed guys towards it since its release. You won't find a better brushed ESC at the moment at that price range. In fact, it's one of the best brushed ESCs right now at any price.

I run one in my TRX4. Works great. I also run them in 3 other trucks. Just do it....

When my ESC dies I'll be getting one (actually hoping it dies soon), this ESC is well liked and one of the most recommended. I've seen a few of them in action and the drag brake is amazing.
here is a pic of the settings you can change on it.

and for $42.00 you can't go wrong.

Yes,I have 2 myself........that's why I asked....
My worry was the micro servos may be more prone to damage if pumping high amperage to them.
That's all......I know the 1080 well.and having a new rig with a brushed setup.I would only want one esc in it..

To avoid this I used an external BEC and a RX Bypass Adapter so that I'm only volting up the steering servo and not the others.

Well, the whole thing behind an esc with a great bec in it is to avoid all the extra electrical items in the system..

Yes, but if you need 6v to your shifting servos and 7.2/8.4v to your steering then one BEC just won't cut it. ;)

An bec don't pump amperage to something. It's delivering by demand.

I just put one in mine.. I love it so far. I'm running it with the stock motor on 3s. I think power is equal to or better than stock, but the adjustments you're able to make with the program card make it far better than the Traxxas ESC.
