| Snow tires on a budget
So the other day with snow starting to come down and being impatient as i am decided to make some snow tires with some things i had laying around. I will most likely end up revising them to do without the key rings, however i was very eager to get out and into the snow that i didn't want to sit there and bend and close the chain 60+ times. I was worried that being attached by key rings the chain would slide around, and get bunched up, however to my surprise having them tight on the wheel kept them in place. Items needed, -1" key rings (2 for each wheel) -sash chain All in all it worked out very well. |

Done this last year for the froggy. Well done. Don't the chains move on the keyring? Just thinking to make some for the trex and the keyring idea isn't bad. Send by my Pixel 2 XL with Tapatalk |

| Re: Snow tires on a budget I originally thought they would. on the inside of the wheel i threaded the chain on and it's pretty tight around the key ring, and on the outside of the wheel i just hooked them on with the open loop. The tension going around the wheel keeps them in place. quite surprised myself.

Snow + snow plow = tons of fun. I'm not sure why, I ran my TRX4 with my Xtra Speed snow plow for the first time 15 minutes ago until I couldn't feel my hands and it was awesome. You got snow, you've got to try it, lol.
