Default SSD Servo Horn

The SSD00224 Servo horn hits the panhard bar with the stock setup and wont let the left side suspension fully articulate. Back to stock servo horn until I can relocate the servo

I dont think it actually touches as I can see a tiny gap between them on my test rig, also it articulates fully.
Maybe different servo is slightly lower?... some M3 washers will raise your servo by 0.5mm. Easy fix.

Your servo seems to hang a bit lower than the stock one. The stock one is flush with the mount yours doesn't seem like that unless outs the picture.

Here is mine with the stock servo and ssd horn. The first pic is full lock left and full articulation it doesn't touch.

Hope this helps

Its the servo, even though there is a "Standard" size, they all fluctuate on dimensions some.

As mentioned, simply put spacers under the servo on the servo mount. I had to do this to accomodate for a servo arm, not servo. Sadly no one makes the TRX horn I need (23T).

Like Grimm said, Samix makes a 23T horn now. It just got listed at Amain yesterday.

that looks nice, too bad they left 24T out of the mix. WTF
Tekno makes a nice 0 offset horn, but they stopped making 24T.

You are probably correct. The Savox SW0231MG does seem to hang down just a bit more than the stock servo. I'll be moving my servo with a Hot Racing Battery/Servo relocation kit anyway then there won't be any clearance issues.

Love the front and rear bumpers BTW.

Yeah it did. Didn't realize the stock servo was flush. I yanked that sucker out as soon as I unpackaged the rig =p
