My scx10 is same wheelbase as the trx4 and I run the Proline Bronco body that’s the same size as the deadbolt body. I think it fits pretty good. . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

This has TRX-4 axles, but a totally different chassis. I did a 313mm wheel base but at that I think the Deadbolt looks about right, going to comp cut the rear some as that is a look I like. I think it fits quite well for being made for 305mm on a 313mm truck. The chassis I chose does allow me to mount the body much lower than the stock chassis, shock towers, and body mount will. A Little work I'm sure you could get it almost as low. Last edited by binaryterror; 01-25-2018 at 06:03 AM. |

Thanks for posting pictures. My new body should be here next week along with another set of body posts.

I love the deadbolt body on mine. You can also benefit from chopping the front and rear rails by quite a bit

| Re: Axial Deadbolt body? Deadbolt seems like it would be a good performer but it sure does look like you’d have to hack off a good bit of the rails. Are you still able to run a bumper?

You can make anything fit if you are willing to customize it by changing links, frame length and body posts. Building something unique is part of the crawler fun. In mine I decided to not use the frame but only the axles and trans and made all the mounts and changed the wraith chassis and the Proline bronco body to get everything all to work together. It's a lot of work but I enjoy building as much if not more than driving them. So that body will work if you want to put forth the effort required to make it work.
