i replaced stock steering servo with savox 1210sg and like the torque much better! my stock servo actually went out within 2 battery packs. i cant find much info on glitch busters tho, do these get rid of the static when i first turn the truck on or when im on a rock at a weird angle the servo is noisy unless i constantly try to straighten the wheel

Savox servos are the noisiest servos out there, a glitch buster is not going to do anything for it. Nothing wrong with the servo, just a character of Savox servos when hunting for center. Don't waste your money or time on a glitch buster, make sure you get a C.C. 10 amp BEC if you don't have one already. The stock esc BEC is laughable at 1 amp. |

That’s not glitching...that’s the nature of a digital servo trying to find centre. Annoying ain’t it! I just lift the truck so it settles if am sat having a brew on the trail. :-)

I need to go trailing/crawling with you oOwizOo... a brew on the trail sounds nice! @Zerocool91 you really need a BEC with the stock ESC or you will eventually burn it up. I burned mine up a couple of runs after installing a Savox 1230sg. You could just cut the chase and sell your stock ESC, skip the BEC and buy a Hobbywing 1080 crawler ESC. It is so much smoother, has more setting options over the stock ESC and it is about half the price to boot. |

I have the same servo in my truck. I would recommend setting the end points. The sa savox are noisy but you could also be pushing the servo far and stressing out the steering parts which makes it noisier. I used a glitch buster from spektrum as a precaution. I then switched to a water proof castle bec to bring up the voltage on the servo. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk |
