|  trx4 reverse problem
I have to hit the trigger a couple to a few times to get reverse to engage on my stock trx4. ANyone know the problem?

If you look in the manual it shows how to get it into crawler mode so you have instant reverse.

Mine did that. It was the ESC failing. Replaced it with a Hobby Wing 1080.

If it is brand new and you haven’t changed the driving mode i’d suggest you try what Jato said, it’s page 20. You’ll see crawler mode has instant reverse. That aside, it is never a bad idea to upgrade from a XL5 to a HW1080. |

I had the same problem with my trx4 not reversing all the time. Mine was a problem with the trigger centering on the remote. I adjusted the throttle sub trim in the traxxas app ~1 to the reverse and it fixed it. |
