Does the Reedy Radon 16T Crawler motor have "neutral timing"? Considering it for one of my TRX4 Sports.

It actually has adjustable timing, so you can set it for 6 or 8 degrees of reverse timing. jim |

I've purchased a Sport kit and this same motor. What's a good pinion tooth count to start with?

I would think that with the sport being faster already you'd probably want to go as low as possible. EDIT: it looks like with the stock spur 15T is the lowest possible pinion. Last edited by HumboldtEF; 06-12-2019 at 05:29 PM. | |

I'll be using the TRX4 as a trail runner. I go on a lot of hikes and wanted something to occupy my mind as I mosey along. So, maybe a little more speed? Edit: It looks like the kit comes with a 17T pinion. I guess I'll start there. Last edited by redbarton; 06-14-2019 at 09:42 AM. |
