Ive got the regular puller pro 540 BL 2700 kV in my Rock Rey and its pretty powerful. I cant imagine the trx4 would need anywhere near that.

Also, i was under the impression that the XL didnt have as smooth of a startup/low speed as the regular 540BL

i honestly dont need the low speed, wont be doing any rock crawling with it. i was just curious what people thoughts were of me putting that kind of motor in my trx4 was

Ur not insane, just having fun!

The Trailmaster Sport 21T has been backordered from Amain. I just ended up ordering a Torquemaster Expert 550 21T. It will probably have more 'goose' than a TRX-4 needs, but again it depends on what brings YOU joy!

I've a slate 3800kv in my TRX4, I ordered the 1410 3800kv and got luck as they sent me a slate 3800kv instead. Just waiting on my Mamba Monster X esc to come in.
