Yeah it is. Wanted to give it a little height above the waterline.

Not needed with the 2.4 radios.
I coiled mine and stuffed it in

Three of my Futaba micro receivers don’t even have an external antenna .

I’ve never had an issue. The deeper you get the weaker your signal. I was told about the Futaba wireless antennas and they’ve always been great, crawling you are on top of the truck. I’ve never done submarine races though, only watched them.

Took the scout out to busse woods for some boulder creeping. Managed to break my first part, a rear upper link end let go in a tight spot.

Swapped my shocks out today with traxxas gts 90 mm shocks. Had to swap out the upper pivot balls to get them in the stock shock towers and had to cut away a bit of the tower itself to clear the upper spring collars. I had to shim out the panhard bar 2 mm forward to clear the lower shock perch and had to switch to a cap head screw to mount the panhard to clear the c hub at full turn.

Running 20 wt oil front and back with .30 front springs and .39 rears.

We added a bridge at my buddies backyard course.

Any thoughts on how it crawls with the gts shocks compared to the incision?

That course looks cool!

Havent had a chance to hit up some rocks yet. Will be heading down to a local course I've comped at a few times with it so will find out then.

Just driving around on even ground I've noticed decreased body roll when high speed turning.

Got some real bright real cheap lights from lit led LLC. Had to mod them a bit to shorten them up but the buckets fit the 4 hole grill pattern. They run 3s right from my battery pack. for 20 beans it was money well spent.
