Looking Fantastic and all but..
Shouldn't that swaybar link be twisted the other way?
The way you have it looks like it might limit articulation.

I am not sure what you are seeing? Which link are you referring?

Unless you don't need/want any rear flex.

Maybe it's just me not having a VS4.

I see what you see. I did this to get around the shock. The rear sway bar does limit the travel even with the straight rod ends. This is going to be all redone as I have changed the shocks and they are bigger and rub the sway bar.

I see what you saw and get why you did what you did. "thumbsup"

Just wondering what it took to put those on. I have them on my VS4-10 chassis and running into fitment issues. Currently running then upside down with Axial spring cups.

I removed some of the inner plastic on the shock towers. Sanded out a spot on the side of the tower for the pre load adjusting ring. I already had the spot on the side done to fit the SSD shocks. Some material inside the tower was removed to fit the SSD again. I just needed to remove a little bit more as the Element shocks are bigger diameter than the SSD. I will get some pictures up tomorrow the truck is out in the garage.

A what brand of bronze/brass ball links that you have on the SSD shocks? My SSD shocks came with chrome ball links and they don’t fit the axle mounts on the VS4-10: Vanquish ball links are shorter. I did swap ball links from the Incisión shocks but they appear to be slightly smaller diameter. (SSD ball links diameter is larger than Incision ones) Any help would be appreciated 😎

Here’s what I used
https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...df92a0a1cf.jpg

They fit in the SSD rod ends. All I did to get them to fit in the VP axles was file down the sides a little bit on each side till they slipped into place. If you have any more questions please ask away.

Hey Mark. After you sent me the pictures and videos I had to come check out your build thread. I really like how this turned out. the d44's are a great touch.

I know that in early on pictures of the VFD people were asking if a 550 motor would fit.
I decided to open the bag to find out. As you can see the 550 is a no go. The motor plate is very thick and is pushing the motor back.
Now if the plate were thinner where the motor sits it would work with no problem.

I'm surprised Vanquish has not made an option for a 550 can yet. I wanted to put a Hobbywing Fusion in this kit. It's a 540 but more the size of a 550. Grrrrr.

I know. You would think that they would have an optional motor plate. I have thought about getting an extra one taking it to a local machine shop to see there is a way to remove some material just for the motor.
